In previous blogs I have described the business term, CORPORATE CSR and Corporate CSR in an objective world perspective in my (previous Corporate CSR posts). Now it has come to the point to where I want to introduce the corporate CSR models. I have previously exemplified reasons why to set up corporate CSR, but I will now add how actual structures look like.
First off, the definition of model is "A representation of a system that allows for investigation of the properties of the system and, in some cases, prediction of future outcomes. Models are often used in quantitative analysis and technical analysis, and sometimes also used in fundamental analysis." I have chosen Investorwords.com to explain this term, since I believe its financial formulation fits this corporate CSR subject like a hand in a glove.
Let us build on hyphenating 3 words, quantitative, technical, and fundamental. Quantitative representing mass, technical standing for complex processes, while fundamentals represent reality. In my opinion, you now have the core base to set up a somewhat successful corporate csr framework by todays standards.
A real-time example of a corporation using this corporate csr model could be that of... Mc Donalds! Let me define parameters of this fortune 500 corporate csr model.
1. "Quantitative" could represent their CSR models' marketing visibility (exoposure). Their ethical and moral involvement needs to scream, which it obviously does with Ronald Mc Donald house for housing sick kids and their families. Also, in their paper-info statements on their serving trays, miniscule corporate CSR involvements are fully exposed, such as with their "green" operations.
2. Technicalities behind Mc Donalds corporate CSR model are processes to maximize campaign effects, mask negativity, and to increase competitiveness (Usually performed through market penetration & through other income generating sources). Mc Donalds are very very smart here. Their customers (we) are actually paying for Ronald Houses all over the globe with our donations. This is evidently masking their effects on obesity (among children), and turning a corporate print of a child-caring corporation. This corporate CSR model is therefore not only effective in it purpose, but money-wise also.
3. Fundamentals behind this example of Ronald House, are right to the point. As Corporate CSR is related to moral and ethical values, Mc Donalds corporate csr model involves helping children in need.
There you go, mission accomplished. Smart and effective planning and execution of a real Corporate CSR model.
I might eventually add specific details about corporate CSR models to this blog as time progress. For now, I will be moving onward with explaining further aspects to Corporate CSR on newer posts.
Thank you!
